In the comics Stormfront was a man they used DNA from after his death to create Homelander and Black Noir (who is a clone of Homelander made as a fail safe in case Homelander needed to be killed). I could totally see them going full Game of Thrones though lol they don't really hold back for this show. And Stormfront still being a genetic parent to Homelander even with the gender swap for the show would still be source material accurate.
