EARLY ACCESS: Legend of Korra 3x12 FULL REACTION

Comments

"This guy and Amon" had me cracking up! But I agree with Mason Quinn - even though we're pretty sure Amon and Tarrlok are dead, how was Team Avatar supposed to know that? I'd have liked a scene where they tried to track them or something.

Anni

Zahir references that passage multiple times in the season and its such a great payoff

Eric Wallace

Not just that. Remember when he was speaking to Yangchen. She said many great monks had detached themselves from worldly desires, but the Avatar never could, because the Avatar’s duty is to the world. The Avatar can never let go their earthly tether. Aang would never be able to fly unless he wasn’t the avatar.

Yes ! The end goal in Buddhism is to get closer to enlightenment (or become fully enlightened like Buddha) and one of the practices/requirements is clearing your mind and getting rid of your emotional and material tethers – luxury and other possessions, romantic feelings, ignorance and conceit, etc. The way I understood it, Zaheer, who's well read on the monks' and Air nomads' way, unlocked a sort of enlightenment after P'Li died.

You guys should check out My hero Academy. It's an anime about a world with super powers and heroes and villains and the main character goes to a super hero school. The English dub is very good too. A lot of heartfelt moments and very intense battles

SushiBoy

When Aang tries to let go, you can see him levitating on his own. Perhaps that was him unlocking it before being hit in the back.

Calvin Allen

Oh mannnn I can't wait for you guys to see the finale !!

K4Kiana

Some people believe that Aang could've unlocked the ability to fly too, but when he met with the Guru and he decided to choose his love of Katara at the end of Season 2 he locked himself from ever achieving it.

Treecko890

Korra willing to give up her life to save the air nation, that's my avatar

Raven Sub

The father/daughter tag team against Zaheer was insane.

Toan Toan

Epic episode and can't wait for you guys to see the finale!

Ivan Rasmussen

the last three episodes of this season are close to perfection!

Bonnie

Kuvira's been present in the background since we first arrived at Zaofu. I'm surprised you didn't pick up P'Li's death flag at the beginning of the episode and took it to be backstory instead, but I think that speaks to the storytelling capabilities of the writing team.

CD

You are 💯 correct p’li’s death was that last thing holdeing Zaheer to the world. Her name is pronounced p lee by the way. Like Lee but with a p in front.

Raquel Perodin

You've actually met Kuvira before, just not by name. She was the main dancer when we first meet Su, she's on the newspaper Lin was reading, she's the one guard who actually did decently against Zaheer during the attack, and she leads the investigation searching for Aiwei after he fled. She's voiced by the late and great Robin William's daughter, Zelda. Oak also did pick up on a good music sting there, wonder what that's all about... And (Diamond Dave) is absolutely correct, the same thing happened with Aang and the Guru--to open the final chakra, he would have had to let go everyone that bound him to the earth.

Geoffrey of Monmouth

Fun fact if you go back and rewatch Kuvira is shown quite a few times during this season. On first watch it's hard to catch/notice. great reactions!!!

Jeron Edwards

Good to see you on this show Diamond Dave)
