Toxic masculinity and struggle love got my people in a chokehold smdh. Now Love Jones and Brown Sugar... yes! But this movie just annoys my whole soul.... Sigh. A film that she was in that I highly recommend you guys check out for the channel is Heart & Souls, it is so good and deserves so much more attention. Especially since it has a very great cast. You have Robert Downy Jr, Tom Sizemore (RIP!), Charles Grobin (RIP!) and Kyra Sidwick. RDJ and Alfre are amazing in it and really shine. I think you guys would really love it.

Fun Fact..Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan were actually in a relation when they both audition for this role but kept it a secret because they knew they would not get the role if they were together. After they both got the role they than told the director the truth and at that point she couldnโt do anything about it cause she loved their chemistry and wanted them for the role lol. Another fun fact is that the slap from alfre Woodard was real and not part of the script๐. Not sure if you guys could see on Sanaa face how raw her emotions was after that slap๐ญโฆ Love and basketball is the best classic urban film ever an inspiration to everyone who could relate to that type of friendship and relationship. Finally the ending the one on one scene truly defines what basketball basically is at the most intimate level which will forever be my favorite scene and That line from Q โAll is fair in love and basketballโ and that โdouble or nothing โ line was so smooth โฆglad yโall enjoyed it. x
