Highly recommend it

2023-09-29 04:22:12 +0000 UTCSo for your question about butcher family and why bought has never gone after them, Vought only started looking for butcher after ep 7 of season 1, they are looking for butcher now, but I think it’s hinted that Grace is trying to keep the heat off, and having worked together in the past, I imagine Butchers family and past is hard for anyone except cia to find. Mallorys anti supe cia task force did exist, and future episodes coming up explain this. Another reason I’d like to offer is that the show runner of the series, is a very gifted writer. I really like the way he handles that trope in gear, season 1 everyone’s closest family is put into witness protection, and to Answers point, it’s usually a very cliche Spider-Man esq trope to not tell people your identity for their protection and whatever, and Butcher is supposed to be the antithesis of what a superhero is, he doesn’t care if he hurts innocents people to get what he wants,(he WAS willing to kill an infant just to puss off Homelander)that’s why he needs his canary, Hughie. This does extend to the people around him, even the Boys, his one drive in life is to get revenge for the death of his wife. Sorry for the essay, this episode is just so good and so important to most of the rest of the show, it’s a start/midpoint for alotta arcs, plus I’m a little high😂
