lol - Realities that can be created in a safe and healthy way is quite literally just people who haven't been struck by extreme tragedy and who have had the means to live the lives they wanted and planned. Outside of that specific context there *is* no way to do it that is safe and healthy, and it would not be therapeutic at all. That's kind of the point.

Amy Petty

So it's her internal drummer what's bubble-headed, is what you're telling me.

Amy Petty

She's not bubble headed she just matches to the beat of her own drummer.

J-Rob

Hey guys. I don't know how many you've recorded yet. Hell you might be done w the series, but if you haven't finished might be a good idea to have Answer sit in for the episodes so he can fill in y'all's blanks on characters and previous plot points.

Justin Robertson

Falcon & Winter Solider go into the aftermath of the return as well.

Winter_Rose

"Would you create your own reality if you could?" : Hmmm, maybe if it can be done in a safe and healthy way ! Maybe it can be very therapeutic !

It's nice to see it some break away from the movie mold of marvel.

The "mess with current" part was just surmising what Tony was reiterating to Banner, as in, not mess with those that came AFTER the blip, IE. Children and what have you. Yeah, there was a lot of shit that came with the un-blipping, but those reprocrussions aren't delved into deeper until FATWS. So there wasn't reason to talk about it, as what they were wondering was just about what about people that were in what would be considered "perilious" predicaments from where they were blipped from. And yeah, it was just talked about later during an interview/panel/can't remember because people brought it up a lot, and yeah, just a bandaid response, but its something. Otherwise, a lot of something that really didn't need to be said in such a manner. They'll get answers/explanation/more info as they get further in the marvel tv series, my post was just addressing the questioning they had in THIS particular episode, about what was given as the explanation for the people being brought back. The ramifications get explored later as they'll learn from future series.

I remember the producers going on record as saying that, although frankly it sounds to me like one of those things where it didn't occur to them that that would need to be addressed, so they decided to make a pithy response about it outside of the canon. But they did NOT say that it wouldn't "mess with whoever is here now and current" and this show demonstrates how that would not have been possible. This very episode shows us that: Banner may have framed his own use of the Stones to ensure everyone was brought back to a place of physical safety, but he definitely did NOTHING to avoid the chaos of situations like previously Snapped hospital patients suddenly reappearing out of nowhere. Also, it's been five years. The vast majority of the world would have just accepted their loved ones were dead and gone - many of them would have remarried, moved, changed careers - hell, you can bet that a lot of people lost out to despair and committed suicide. Babies and small children were among the people snapped. How exactly were they brought back? They would not all have had parents to come back *to* - and what happened to those who did? If their parents had relocated, were their returned kids Blipped into the new homes? There's a myriad of convoluted situations created by the combined Snap and Blip, and Banner definitely did not account for them.

Amy Petty

OH! Also, I didn't realize this at first myself, but the woman y'all were wondering about, saying you felt like you were supposed to know her? That's Darcy, the somewhat bubble-headed political science intern who worked for Jane Foster in the Thor movies. I remember picking up on her extremely distinctive voice and not being able to pin her down for anything until I happened to re-watch one of the Thor titles again.

Amy Petty

After finishing the show, I'd suggest you guys watch some YouTube breakdowns maybe. There's lots of connections and references here that are kind of important and hard to catch/understand for a casual viewer.

Jakub C

They noticed in the first episode. Just not here.

The fact that WandaVision actually tackles the reality of what it would be like for 3.5 billion people to suddenly pop back into existence is my favorite part of this series. One of the unfortunate consequences of the Blip (the term used for the reverse-snap) is that it is heavily implied that all the Snap victims were brought back EXACTLY where they were Snapped away in the first place. That doesn't seem like a big deal until you start to consider all the different scenarios in which people were snapped away. If you were flying in a plane tens of thousands of feet in the air, or if you were in a hospital bed on life support for a bed that may not exist 5 years later...or, well...what if you were an infant baby who was Snapped away and your parents don't live wherever they did 5 years ago...? (Yes, I'm aware that the producers gave a hand-wave response to this post-movie - I never found it satisfying). I have to note that Falcon and Winter Soldier deal with the geopolitical consequences of the Snap and subsequent Blip, but only WandaVision so far has actually addressed the immediacy of the chaos when people were first brought back. EDIT: lol - I wrote this comment right as soon as you guys started commenting on the chaos. I see y'all remarked on the same things. Wild, isn't it? It would be really worth it for Marvel to develop a series built specifically around people trying to handle this chaos, IMO.

Amy Petty

Yay!! So excited to binge the first 4 episodes with you guys. This is one of my favorite Marvel Shows & Love Story🌷

J A C

The way they said Rambo I knew they didn’t see captain marvel so agin there missing a lot of story

Gregory Sambrano

You guys seemed to not notice at the end of the first episode, they show a view of the credits and then move back to show Darcy’s hands. That was the shot we saw at the end of episode 1 where you guys wondered whose hands those were in front of the tv. And as others mentioned, Darcy first appeared in the first Thor movie.

Ginger

SWORD is supposed to be a space version of SHIELD basically. Monica (geraldine) is the little girl from Captain Marvel - daughter of Captain Marvel's best friend.

tom

Monica is the daughter of Carols friend from Captain Marvel. When Carol was about to go to space she said β€œmaybe I could fly up and meet you half way.” S.W.O.R.D. is the space division of S.H.I.E.L.D and Monica became an astronaut.

Ebony

I believe it was said that when Banner made the 'wish', he did make sure to address all those issues, that everyone blipped, was brought back safely, so they weren't like, in the air, in the road or ocean or whatever, from where they had previously blipped from if it was would be dangerous/hazardous to them, without messing with whoever is here now and current

Anza

Darcie is from Thor

Lucero webb

I haven't been a HUGE fan of the Marvel TV shows (and no im not one of those people who are like "Disney bad!" I can accept that things aren't for me without hating on them haha) and have only watched Moon Knight and Loki all the way through. I don't think any of it is bad, just not for me. But I LOVED Moon Knight so will definitely be excited when you guys start that!

Shane Kolaga

Yea, Darcy Lewis (played by kat dennings) was one of the scientists investigating Thors arrival in the early thor movies.

OBBlade

Darcy Lewis was previously in the first two Thor movies. She was an intern/assistant to Dr. Erik Selvig and Dr. Jane Foster.

Valeria Quezada

Another great reaction! It becomes more clear as we go forward really. I truly assumed Wanda was brainwashed or under some sort of control at first. The woman is Darcy Lewis Jane Foster's assistant from the Thor movies!

Dy'Nasha

Was waitin on this episode so I could binge the first 4
