2023-08-08 19:35:34 +0000 UTCMy head canon explanation is that Aang could enter the Avatar State earlier and younger because he started his life as a monk Airbender, which gave him more ready access to the "spiritual side" of his Avatar abilities, which Korra has not connected to yet. Since Airbending has been giving Korra so much trouble she just can't tap into that side of her power yet, but as she grows I hope to see it manifest.

He also played General Fong in last airbender(earth general that wanted to use Aang's avatar state to end the war prematurely in Book2 season premier). also, he is casted to play the the firelord in the new upcoming live action series airbender show. Remember, in the first episode of Korra, the White lotus teachers told Korra she excelled at the physical part of the avatar but not the spiritual....probably why she hasn't gone into the avatar state yet.
