First of all, I hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Eve! Here in Brazil, we had an incredibly pleasant and magical celebration—just me, my wife, and our two furry babies. I’d like to thank everyone who has continued to show their support into this new year. You all mean so much to me and give me the motivation and inspiration to keep going every single day. I’m so proud of what we achieved in 2024, and I hope that in 2025, I can offer an even greater variety of mods and resources to help you become even more creative in The Sims.

Today, I’m here to share another blog post with you. This one dives deeper into the second point from my initial Project Mayor post (Evaluate Citizen Satisfaction). It’s designed to inspire you to find new ways to repurpose existing systems in The Sims (especially in The Sims 2) to tell stories without relying on spreadsheets to keep track of everything.
I’ll leave you with today’s text, and I hope it sparks some great ideas for your gameplay! And of course, before I forget: Wishing you an excellent, bright, and wonderful 2025!!
------------------------------------
Have you ever noticed how many The Sims 2 players rely on spreadsheets to organize their gameplay? 📝 Whether it’s tracking family relationships, finances, or schedules, it’s common to see tables being filled out outside the game. But let’s be honest: that shouldn’t really be the player’s role, should it? (Unless, of course, you genuinely enjoy it!)
Unfortunately, The Sims 2 doesn’t have an automatic system to log all this data into spreadsheets. However, it does offer us incredibly powerful tools to record everything in a much more intuitive, visual, and engaging way! 🌟
Now, I know what I’m about to share isn’t exactly groundbreaking. Any dedicated The Sims 2 player probably already knows these tools exist. But Project Mayor exists precisely because, despite knowing about them, many players still don’t fully explore their potential.
With that in mind, I’ve prepared a practical example of how you can use these often-overlooked features to create rich narratives, track your neighborhood’s progress, and most importantly, free yourself from spreadsheets! 📸✨
With these systems, you’ll have richer data, visually captivating records, and, above all, an intuitively simple way to manage everything. Are you ready to bring new life to your The Sims 2 stories? 🚀
