Did anyone read the book? If so, what was different in the film?
Big Dave Bautista was fantastic, along with the other actors. M. Night Shyamalan is known for his polarizing films that either captivate or repel audiences with their unconventional, yet ambitious style. However, his latest offering, which appears to be based on a book, leaves us feeling more neutral.
The film's premise is intriguing, yet straightforward: what if a group of strangers arrived at your cabin, claiming that the world was ending and that you must sacrifice a member of your family to prevent the apocalypse? It's a captivating concept that immediately sparks curiosity and forces viewers to question what they would do if faced with such a dilemma. As a viewer, it did have a lot of moments of asking ourselves "what would we do." Probably worth a rewatch if you were entertained the first go around.

2023-05-16 03:46:17 +0000 UTCI didn't know about the movie but I gave it a try, because I watched "Gentlemen" with you and was surprised how good it was. This one was an interesting movie, but it felt like something was missing. The ending was kinda flat. There was no big twist. When they showed the planes falling down from the sky, it was clear that the four told the truth and I also expected very early on that Eric would sacrifice himself. I don't know. I still enjoyed it, but I don't think I would watch it again. I was surprised to see Jonathan Groff (Eric). I know him from the Netflix series Mindhunter, in which he was excellent. He was also in Matrix Resurrections. However, as always, great reaction from you guys.π

My movie was synced with yours but I first noticed the delay when one of the Dads retrieved the gun from the car and fired the warning shot and your reaction was delayed about 15 seconds. but then the audio is in sync again when one of the dads is opening the shower curtain
