The second half of season 3 is pure fire (pun a little intended 😜) And I’m glad you guys are loving Zuko’s arc. Honestly his character arc is one of my favorite character developments of any piece of media I’ve ever read/watched. It’s just so satisfying to see his transformation and it’s so well written. Sorry for gushing. I’m a bit of an Avatar fangirl 🤣 Seriously pumped for your next Avatar reactions!!!

2023-03-22 04:27:20 +0000 UTCSome moments definitely feel like "this is suppose to be a children's show" but the characters and the world are so good it often doesn't matter. I mean I find the goofball antics funny, but not everyone will. Netflix' version of avatar is suppose to be a more serious take on the story and the new Avatar Studios is suppose to have a lot of freedom with its content so we will be seeing a less constrained Avatar universe this and the upcoming years. Legend of Korra has its highlights like its animation, action sequences, and expanded world, but it suffered from network drama. We'll see what AvtrStudios does with the network finally being all in, and hopefully Netflix doesn't fumble this IP too.

2023-03-22 04:05:36 +0000 UTCThis is just a fun little music fact but when Zuko and Aang are dancing with the dragons at the temple, the music in the background is a mix between Aang's theme and Zuko's theme. It shows that they have finally let go of their strife and had come together to learn and grow. It's an amazing scene visually but knowing about the music just makes it a little more special for me so I thought I would share. If you are into music facts there is an amazing video on Youtube by Sideways that goes into more detail (but I wouldn't recommend watching it until after the show is completed because there are spoilers)!

2023-03-22 01:55:19 +0000 UTCThe scariest thing about letting Zuko join was his unpredictable behavior. Katara and Sokka were always the more cautious ones of the group. Add onto that Katara's nurturing nature and it's understandable why she was so terrified to let Zuko anywhere near her loved ones. Zuko however has the toughest skin out of anyone in our main cast and, arguably, the best focus. It'll take way more than threats, glares, and isolation to keep him from accomplishing his goal.

2023-03-22 00:17:53 +0000 UTCReally enjoying watching the Avatar again with you guys, it's been a blast. I also can't wait to see the How to train your Dragon series. I think you will enjoy them. I would recommend the Netflix original show on it, depends on how much you like the first movie. If your really enjoy it, and want to know more about the world. Then yes I highly recommend the Netflix original, they actually did a great job with it. They keep the main cast of voice actors, and the animation is good. If you do decide to give it a watch, you need to watch it before movie 2. It does have 6 seasons, and is a little longer than Avatar at 78 episodes. But it goes with the main story, and in my opinion is definitely worth watching if you like the first movie.

Like mentioned, she was the first one to give him a fair chance, to believe that he truly changed and he betrayed her trust when it came down to picking a side. The episode with the dragons is one of my favorites.
