2023-03-15 06:05:08 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! I do want to make a suggestion though…. When you get to the 4 part finale, do a little break for thoughts at the halfway point (after part 2, before part 3). The finale really functions well when thought of as 2 separate two part pieces IMO.

Also the next episode, The Western Air temple, is a BIG fan favorite and my 2nd favorite episode. Super excited to see that reaction with you guys.

2023-03-15 00:53:56 +0000 UTCSpeaking of nightmares, I had a recurring one when I was an undergrad student that I showed up for class on the day of the final and felt panic that I hadn’t attended class all semester and knew I was going to fail. I hated that dream. And now in my 40’s, I have weird dreams sometimes that I am a kid and in school again. 😝 The Day of Black Sun was a nice teaser, but the finale is EPIC! I had forgotten that Aang first kissed Katara in this episode. We are so close to the end!

I would love to see each of you be a character and include Daimond dave (so you have the group). Though im mostly looking foward to Oak having an arrow on his head hahaha. You dont have to but i thought it would not only be fun for us, but for you as well :p.

2023-03-14 20:56:15 +0000 UTCI just want to mention that metalbendending is a more refined extension of earthbending so Iroh, who's a firebender, cannot metalbend so to speak. He would have to stay in the same firebending 'tree' if that makes sense. Combustion bending (like Sparky Sparky Boom Man), lightning bending, etc. Hypothetically, I believe only an earthbender or someone who has the capacity to earthbend (like the avatar) could learn how to metalbend.
