Added 2023-03-01 15:54:01 +0000 UTCThis was a fantastic film! Lots of fun this was. Seeing all the spider peeps was fantastic. Peter B Parker needs a live action lol. Nick Cage... they were able to bring him on. We get a Gwen Spider woman and more. The animation is pixel perfect with every scene having so much emotion and every frame being a work of art. The action scenes just like the story are very engaging and incredibly well animated, kingpin always feels like an opposing threat and genuinely dangerous to spiderman with the sense of urgency and dread always being there. The cinematography was fantastic and the story always moved at the perfect pace with it being easy to follow but still feeling really complex.

Miles Morales himself isn't woke, but he was created a part of a whole shift in the industry where Marvel created a ton of characters whose sole purpose was to just be palette swaps of established characters in order to push "diversity" for a prime example, you can look at RiRi, aka Ironheart. Miles started off that way, but he actually grew an identity of his own in time, which is great! The same can't be said for all the other woke characters from this time.

I remember when I saw the trailors for this and was skeptical, but when I saw it it blew me away. As an artist I always think there are so many amazing art styles that would make beautiful animation, but it just takes some bold financiers to, well take a leap of faith. I'm glad you guys loved this and I like that M Quinn gave the nod to Airbender😉.

The soundtrack was A+ totally on point, and I love they kept the comic book bits in there with it. RIP Stan Lee. How others call this ''Woke'' is beyond me. I enjoyed every moment of it. Def do the 2nd one trailers it looks Amazing.
