2023-03-16 14:21:07 +0000 UTCI understand Kathleen's anger. She was so completely single minded. Seems like she took her whole army to capture 2 adults and 2 kids. Meanwhile last episode the ground within the city limits is moving... and she focuses on Henry and revenge. Not sure what they could have done about that. But I think putting it on "the back burner" was not a good call. Great Episode. Thank You.

2023-02-18 03:00:22 +0000 UTCi agree with this, though to be fair, i don’t think joel was a bad shot in ep 4 either. he was firing off distraction shots to keep “the people” from looking at ellie as she crawled the safety. the second she was behind that wall, he actually aimed. he takes em out when it counts 😂

Was waiting for the gut punch and it definitely hit like a truck. Other than that, I’m glad to have seen trust between Ellie and Joel grow even more! Great reaction fellas! Looking forward to the next one!

2023-02-12 02:17:30 +0000 UTCYour reactions to the bloater coming out was the same reaction I had when I first encountered one in the gameplayed the game. Henry and Sam will always get to me whenever I play the game and it felt horrible to see that happen even if I knew it was coming

2023-02-11 22:10:03 +0000 UTCIt really is such an interesting take on the situation, because let's reframe it in a different way: look at the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, as an example. FEDRA were monsters in KC, and the Nazis were obviously monsters. They had people collaborating with them to take care of themselves and their families. But if the Jewish people in Warsaw had successfully overthrown the Nazis and taken back Warsaw, they would absolutely not be the bad guys. The people who collaborated with the Nazis, like the people who collaborated with FEDRA, might not be straight up bad but using that example, if you were part of the Jewish resistance, how forgiving would you be to the people who aided the Nazis to keep themselves safe? It's obviously not a 1-to-1 comparison, but given the horrendous things FEDRA was doing to the people of KC, it's not that far off. In those terms, Kathleen would rightly be considered a heroic figure.

In the game Henry is nearer Ellie's age, here he's just a baby and the actor really got me attached to his sweetness. 😭 And I liked Sam's reaction to the shooting better here than in the game, the shock in his voice and eyes felt so authentic, superb acting. I also really love the reveal that Kathleen's brother wasn't a monster but instead a really good man who didn't deserve to die. It puts an interesting nuance on Kathleen's crazy.
