At 5: 33, such lackluster reactions. Toph is literally holding up/supporting the WHOLE FREAKING LIBRARY!!!!! LIke c'mon she is crazy OP!!!

Lena Herbert

I cant wait til you guys start reviewing book 3 ! I love your reaction videos , looking forward to the next updates !

Desi

it's on their list. I believe the order is: Avatar: the last airbender, then Invincible, then Arcane, then AoT

Miles

I love Avatar so much and I love your reactions. ❤️. Just wanna remind you That Attack on Titan is mind-blowing, so please don't forget about it! I want you to remember my name and how much I'm fighting for the show because I know the three of you would be so thankful for having watched it.

Cherrie

I haven’t watched yet, but I’m so excited to! I’m a longtime YouTube follower who finally joined your Patreon for full reactions of Avatar and Haunting of Hill House. You guys are my favorite reaction channel (and I follow a lot of them!) Your insights are really great and you make me feel that excitement of watching a show or movie with my friends for the first time and then analyzing it/geeking out afterwards 🤣 Thanks so much for all your awesome content! It’s much appreciated!

Amanda Milholland

Hope you enjoyed!

I don't think that's on the list... I'll add that

Badd Medicine

I really enjoy these rewatches with you guys, thanks :)

Oulianor Timothee

Iroh is the best!

Maya

So…are we gonna get a National Treasure franchise reaction?

Brittany McGee

I really feel like Answer is giving away too much. Maybe you should only join you guys for the review. Or just don't talk about anything in the future in the intro, discovering not only the plot but the feelings of each episode and character is part of the fun and it's distorted and ruined as soon as they hear even a little bit about what's next. This becomes even more important going into late book 2 and all of book 3. Just say nothing or be extremely careful, let them anticipate and speculate on their own

Veronsa Custard

Toph is such a cool badass character it is funny to think she hasn’t been away from home for too long and yet she’s very confident in who she is. Also love Uncle literally doing anything. Ugh the gut punch when I saw the title and knowing the gang is about to lose Appa. 🥺 and loved the mention of the weird turtle and Answer’s reaction 😅

Megan Noor

Awesome video as always guys! Thought it was funny you mentioned Appa getting a break in episode 9 for him to then be taken in episode 10. Crazy timing! Sad we lost our favorite flying bison

Ivan Rasmussen

100% same

alternia though

As a kid, I loved a good adventure, so this series would have appealed to me as much as a kid as it appeals to me as an adult. This episode is for sure a huge turning point in the series because of them losing Appa. I liked the picture of that interesting looking lion turtle. 😜

Ginger

“Pride is not the opposite of shame, but the root of it.” Uncle Iroh is incredible. Also there’s a show called Physical 100 on Netflix that Oak may enjoy in his own time. Lots of bodybuilders competing.

Nakia Smith

I joined your patreon because I was going to re-watch the Harry Potter movies before the new game releases. I found you guys on YouTube, and thought it would be fun to watch along with you and see your reactions. Then I seen you had the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and The Lord of The Rings. on top of Avatar, Avatar is one of my favorite cartoons and Uncle Iroh is my favorite character. It's been a few years since I have watched it, and it been a blast watching it along with you guys.

TacticalFox31

100% 😂😂

DezzCuse

Personally I never had any problems with Oak saying it’s a kids show bc it is. It’s just a really good kids show that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults. I watched the series when I was 6-9 years old and I 100% understood what was going on. When I rewatched it as an adult, I just watched it with a different perspective. Like the lessons Uncle Iroh taught definitely hit me harder as an adult.

Brenda Kai

The season just gets CRAZY from here! Can’t wait to see you guys react!

DezzCuse

And to just ramble on, don't even get me started on Iroh's line on "pride being the source of shame"! As a kid, that line must've totally gone over my head. I thought, "how could you be proud and ashamed?". Now I realize what Iroh meant by pride being the source of shame. When you're ashamed of something, it's typically because your pride gets touched. Like when you're ashamed of reaching out for help, it's probably because you were prideful in your abilities and knowledge by thinking that you can do everything on your own. Pride isn't a bad thing, but too much must be balanced by humility. Zuko was proud to be a fire-bender. Proud to be the prince of Fire Nation and we can see this pride every time he announces it. Yet he is ashamed because he has nothing to prove for it. He's not as great of a fire-bender as his sister, his own father doesn't want to acknowledge him, and he's banished from the nation he was proud to be a part of. But he needs some humility, and ask himself why is it so important and what does it mean to be part of the Fire Nation. Again, probably obvious, but I never thought to expand on these points of wisdom and as to how much they apply until now. Plus, this re-watch only further cements my love for Iroh!

Raphaelle

Just a little thing, the Firebender they showed in the past, in the library was Admiral Zhao, not Firelord Ozai. The library is where he got the information of the location of the Ying and Yang fish location and how to destroy them. Great reactions guys!

Angelica

I've probably re-watched this show every summer ever since I first watched it as a kid, and one more re-watch with you guys! But each time I watch it I still discover and learn new things. I feel like the entire series is just lined with so much philosophy and lessons that as a kid, I didn't even realize it. For instance, it just occurred to me how brilliant episode 9 was with the parallel between Zuko/Iroh's and Aang's gang's respective storylines. As Iroh talks about drawing wisdom from all walks of life, explaining the personalities of the different elements we see it in real time. Zuko is fire as he has the desire and will to achieve what he wants. We could see this with his relentless pursuit of the Avatar. Toph is earth as she's both physically and mentally still and strong as a rock -- unmovable. Katara is water, she's gone through a lot but yet she still changes, adapts and embodies the community and love many waterbenders have. Aang is air with his embracing of freedom, even becoming the Avatar troubled him because it meant that he loses some of his freedom by answering to his duties. But even though they are all of different elements and different personalities, Iroh explains that we should still learn from these different walks of life to find balance in our lives. You can see this even in Toph when she starts to adapt and use positive reinforcement, you can see this in Aang when he faces Toph and stands his ground. When Iroh explained that what makes the Avatar powerful was that they are able to master all four elements by drawing from the different philosophies and ways of living from these different elements, I realize you can also apply it to reaching a balance in yourself. There's no one way to live your life or one set of virtues. Instead you learn from different people, different anything and you gain wisdom from your new experiences -- not stale ones. To others, these might seem obvious, but I didn't get this until my watch right now with you guys!

Raphaelle

Good point!

Miss_CJ

She did actually use some positive reinforcement when she told Aang that "He's got the stuff" after standing up to the animal and her. A bit subtle compared to Katara but probably a lot for Toph.

Munir

We’re in the thick of it now 🔥🔥🔥 Let’s gooooooo

Angelina

So, the way I see it with Toph's teaching is that she was trying to make Aang 'think' like a Earthbender. Sure, Katara told her some positiveness and gentle nodge in the right direction is perfect for Waterbending, since water is flowy and very similar to air, but it's not the way earth works. When it comes to earth, it's solid, grounded, cannot be moved easily, it has shape. Toph didn't necessaily use positive reinforcement, she made Aang get out of his comfort zone, made him 'stand his ground'. She was walking all over him, poking at him, getting on his nerves, to force the Earthbender out of him. And it worked. As for Zuko, his inner turmoil is very hard to watch but it only adds to his growth. His character arc is one of the best. So many good lessons in this show. It only gets better!

Miss_CJ

And so the sadness begins…I predict Oak cries first!

Scott Bringel

Best part of my week right here

Graham F

Uncle Iroh's lesson on the different disciplines directly connects to Aang's earth bending block. Iroh was saying that each nation sees the world differently and it applies their bending mindset to their culture. Aang is an airbender and isnt confrontational by nature, but earthbenders are confrontational, thats how their bending discipline works. Toph was showing Aang toughness unlike Katara because Katara didn't understand that Toph was trying to turn Aang confrontational so that he could have the right attitude to move a rock. Really good episode. the nugget I most take away from this episode is Iroh telling Zuko about pride and shame being connected and humility is the antedote.

Nate Terry

Literally the halfway point of the series is now here. The stakes only get higher now. So many great episodes to come.

Charles Grimes

58:16... Oh yeah, that has to be on the poll. Early Christmas present? Lmaooo.
