A decent story the film had in this one. Great to see Luke from Haunting of Hill House. The cast and crew did awesome. A little different from the first 2. The third chapter of the Conjuring films had a lot to live up to. In this chapter, Ed was in a more vulnerable state, having suffered a heart attack during the opening exorcism sequence, which turned out to be a doozy, but with the exception of one or two other moments, the film never truly scared us like the first 2. Again, not bad, but it wasn't like the first 2.

2023-01-21 13:03:15 +0000 UTCThis one felt more like a love story showing how much Ed and Lorraine are connected and adore each other. I actually loved it. It’s also scary to me because my best friend lives in the same Connecticut town where this was filmed (and based on true events) and she’s taken me by the house, the dog kennel/farm, and often drives down the road where the possessed guy was walking.
