2024-04-08 12:24:38 +0000 UTCI don’t know if this was mentioned in any other comments here or on YouTube but the thing with Silver’s plan for Cobra Kai goes beyond just teenage karate. They mentioned in an earlier episode that CK offers adult classes. They want their version of karate to be the only one. Doesn’t matter if it’s kids or adults - Silver wants the Way of the Fist as the be all end all of the sport. He doesn’t give a damn about any kids or the art of the thing. That was shown when he tried to talk Kreese into the big tournament in the flashback but Kreese actually cared about teaching. Somewhere between that moment and the first Karate Kid, he forgot why he’d gotten into owning a dojo.
