Journey of Autonomy: The Needs Decay Mod That Will Change Your Sims Experience
Added 2023-07-07 12:32:08 +0000 UTCWe're on our way to the final stage of the needs mod I'm creating. As can be seen in this video, several adjustments are necessary to ensure that the sims have assertive behaviors. With needs dropping faster, activities like feeding needed to have their time reduced, we needed to ensure that sims interacted more with each other, we needed to adjust the promotion that objects transmitted to Sims to avoid for example sims that spend the day in the computer/reading/phone. All this without restricting these behaviors, but adjusting them according to personality traits.
There are still some points that need improvement, but we are closer than we were last week. Yesterday I spent the day making several adjustments and identifying behaviors that could be improved or released for autonomy without compromising the game experience, and today I transferred the mod to a friend to test and give me feedback. if it's positive and matches the vision I envisioned, I'll share it with you today or this weekend!
To make sure everything is as expected, I had to reset all my other autonomy mods (mainly the hygiene module) because since sims have a higher hunger decay, they seem to wash their hands indefinitely on any batch that doesn't. there is a way to meet the hunger need. So if you have any suggestions I'm open. Initially, I'm thinking of increasing the promotion of famine-related objects on certain community lots to ensure they do something about it. An alternative to this was to also increase the incentive for the sims to go to the rabbit holes to feed. We're laying out all the stops to make sure they're as smart and responsive as possible. In the video above is an example of a whole day in a family with a baby for you to check the current level of responsiveness of the sims, I hope you like it!!
