Introducing the amazing "Authentic Personalities" mod for The Sims 3! I'm excited to present a new collection of personality traits that will make your Sims even more authentic and fascinating than ever before. It took a little while to ensure that everything was working as expected, but all the work was done with great care, love, and attention to detail to ensure an immersive and high-quality experience. We wanted to offer players a way to enhance their Sims' personality by adding traits that bring new opportunities and interesting interactions. (Note: This mod is just an addition to a new system that I'm working on, which will further amplify and highlight your Sims' personality.)

With the traits from the "Authentic Personalities" mod, your Sims can enjoy exclusive benefits such as free access to community theater events, faster relationships with coworkers, more efficient cleaning, accelerated metabolism, enhanced observational skills, immunity to fires, and much more.

The best part is that you can count on an incredible experience as the mod seamlessly integrates with the standard interface of The Sims 3. Custom icons for each trait make identification and selection easier, making the customization of your Sims even more intuitive.

Note: This mod makes various hidden personality traits accessible and converts other traits from the rewards list directly into Create a Sim in the game, making it even easier to create the Sim you truly desire! Check out the list below to learn more about the traits and the associated benefits of each one.

All New Traits:

• Burglar: Previously, the hidden trait Burglar could only be found in children of Sims in the Criminal career and in NPC thieves, but now it is available to all Sims:

Burglars must hone their skills properly to unlock items in neighbors' houses. Thieves like to maintain the skill in the family, so their children can escape like a pro at birth.

Can "Sneak" instead of walk or run.

• Can Apprehend Burglar: Previously, the hidden trait Can Apprehend Burglar could only be found in children of NPC police or controllable Sims in the Police career, but now it is available to all Sims:

Police officers spend many years learning the best ways to catch the smartest thieves. Fortunately for their children, genetics help stop burglars without years of tedious training.

Can fight NPC thieves on lots.

• Can Salute: Previously, the hidden trait Can Salute could be found in children of Sims in the Military career and Sims who studied at the Strong Hard Military School. Now, however, any Sim can possess this trait!

Can "Salute" other Sims. (salute gesture)

• Immune to fire: Previously, the hidden trait Immune to fire could be found in children of NPC firefighters or Sims in the Firefighter profession, but now any Sim can be immune to fire:

Firefighters are able to survive countless fires, not least because of their natural fire immunity. It is a trait they pass on to their children.

Cannot be killed by fire.

• Makes no Messes: Previously, the hidden trait Makes no Messes could only be found in children of maids, but now any Sim can enjoy the benefits of being neat:

Descendants of maids have it coded in their genetics never to leave anything dirty. Never leave a mess, similar to the Neat trait attribute.

• Pizza Appreciator: Previously, the hidden trait Pizza Appreciator could only be found in children of pizza delivery drivers, but now it is available to all Sims:

Pizza delivery drivers develop a love for pizza that is deeper than the thickest crust. Their children share a similar pizza fanaticism, making every bite of a hot pizza amazing.

When a Sim with this trait is eating pizza, they receive a "Wonderful Meal" Moodlet.

• Rocker: Previously, the hidden trait Rocker could only be found in children of Sims in the Music career, but now any Sim can become a rock star more easily with this trait.

Personality traits that were previously purchasable aspiration rewards and are now turned into Create a Sim traits:

• Above Reproach: Public displays of affection will be much less crowded by Sims in the city.

Sims with this trait who flirt with another Sim in the city will still have their reputations affected, but the chances are considerably reduced. Excellent for Casanovas!

• Long-Distance Friend: Friends will never become Distant Friends, even if you don't reach out to them for a while. They know you remain the same.

Friends of Sims with this trait will never become Distant Friends, the relationship bar will never decay due to neglect. Use it as an advantage in charisma-related opportunities to maintain friendships and develop influence (who knows) in politics!

• Legendary Host: Everyone will come to the party to have fun - it will be legendary!

Sims with this trait will throw extremely successful parties! 100% of the guests will show up at the party and will be having more fun than the standard fun level. Add this trait to a Party Animal Sim or someone interesting enough to frequently throw epic parties in town!

• Perfect Host: You welcomed your guest with open arms and catered to their needs as if your own life depended on it... and all that did not go unnoticed. Your Sim's household will receive more money, as well as Lasting Happiness when receiving a Sim through SimPort.

This trait brings exclusive benefits to those who still use SimPort to send or receive friends. When receiving a Sim through SimPort, your household will earn more money and Lasting Happiness points.

• That Was Deliberate: Turn a stumble into a well-planned step and an off-key voice into a lyrical cry. It will be less likely for the audience to notice any mistakes you make while performing on stage.

Sims with this trait have reduced penalties for mistakes made during performances, and it also increases the number of gig offers received. Use this trait to speed up your progress in The Sims 3 Showtime careers and pave your way to fame with greater ease.

• Attractive: Whether through charisma or a good scent, people will like you more.

Who said life isn't a bit easier for beautiful people? With this trait, your Sims will increase their initial relationship with Sims they just met.

• Steel Bladder: Urinating is something for Sims with weak willpower (and smaller bladders).

Sims with this trait will always have their Bladder need in the green and it will never decay. If you're ready to experience autonomy at a new level without needing to use the bathroom, this may be the ideal trait for you.

• Discount Diner: Meals at restaurants will be on the house. Tips and taxes included!

With this trait, dining at the Diner or Bistro will be free. An excellent way to start a rags-to-riches challenge if you don't have money to spend and don't want to starve your Sim.

• Stone Hearted: Tragedies and dramas don't affect this type of Sim.

Sims with this trait will not suffer negative moodlet modifiers regarding the loss of a friend, betrayals, or death. A good trait to create an apathetic Sim who doesn't get involved in everyday life dramas.

• Hardly Hungry: Your body achieves such a perfect state of balance that you rarely feel hungry or thirsty.

Unlike the Iron Bladder trait, this trait makes the Hunger need of Sims decay at 1/4 the normal speed, giving more time for your Sim to explore the world, engage in adventures and explorations without worrying about starving along the way.

• Complimentary Entertainment: You are now on the VIP list of the community theater and can attend upcoming events for free.

Sims with this trait no longer need to pay to watch movies, concerts, or games. This trait can be combined with fame status or any other gameplay element to create scenarios where everything is even easier and more accessible for those at the "top."

• Office Hero: Your conversations at the office will be more efficient than ever! Your colleagues will love spending time with you.

The relationship with coworkers increases significantly faster during work hours for Sims with this trait. Perfect for amplifying the chances of success with promotions and, who knows, finding the love of your life!

• Speedy Cleaner: Eliminate household dirt twice as fast!

Sims with this trait clean everything faster. If combined with the Neat trait, the Sim will clean even faster! In other words, you will never need a maid because your Sim will do an exceptional job. It can be an interesting trait to create a Sim obsessed with cleanliness and organization. I would also combine it with perfectionist and never makes a mess. (And go around organizing the neighbors' houses).

• Fast Metabolism: Watch your body transform before your eyes with minimal effort! It's like being brand new!

Sims with this trait (benefit) lose weight and gain muscle mass faster. Additionally, the amount of weight gained from overeating has been reduced.

• No Jealousy: You will never have to deal with the negative effects caused by jealous Sims.

Allows a Sim to flirt with another in front of their spouse without consequences. (However, I wouldn't recommend trying that, you never know who you're married to until you find out).

• Observant: Discover other Sims' traits twice as fast!

Sims with this trait will uncover three traits of another Sim when meeting them instead of just one. They also develop friendships more easily since they better understand how the other Sim behaves and thinks.

• Haggler: Shopkeepers tremble just by looking at you and offer unmatched discounts to end the torture quickly.

Sims with this trait receive significant discounts at convenience stores. I would add it to an elderly lady to create the terror of shopkeepers. Combine it with other traits related to financial behavior. It would be comical!

• Bookshop Bargainer: Books at the bookstore will always have a good discount!

With this trait, buying books at the bookstore is cheaper. A good trait for someone playing a money-restricted challenge that involves developing a wide range of skills without being able to acquire related objects. Okay, I know no one has created that challenge yet, so go ahead!

• Professional Slacker: Isn't it great to be able to watch TV and slack off at work without the boss caring?

The risk of getting fired becomes non-existent for the Sim's career. Resting at work increases performance instead of decreasing it. Who wouldn't want to have this trait in real life is lying! Your Sim can skip work and still receive promotions. What a dream!

• Vacationer: Feel free to take a day off from time to time. No one at work will notice!

The job performance bar for these Sims decays slower when they take time off. I wonder if combined with the trait above, I could have a job where I don't need to work and still receive a salary. Either way, Sims with this trait have interesting benefits if you're willing to trade an afternoon of work for a romantic encounter!

• Fearless Voyager: Sometimes you make a journey. Sometimes the journey makes your mind. Either way, it's worth being Fearless when touring through SimPort.

Sims with this trait receive exclusive benefits when going on a tour through SimPort. Performances provide higher payments and are more likely to achieve success!

• Prepared Traveler: Travel groups with a Prepared Traveler can stay abroad for longer.

If you want to receive benefits without going through the hardships of exploring travel worlds, this trait adds an additional three days of travel if one of the Sims in the group has it. If there are more Sims with this reward, the benefit accumulates!

• Dirt Defiant: Personal hygiene issues and frequent showers rarely bother the Dirt Defier!

Sims with this trait don't need to worry as much about taking showers because it slows down the rate at which the Hygiene need decays.

• Never Dull: Sims love listening to you talk, and they never get bored when you repeat social interactions!

With this trait, other Sims will not get bored if the player repeats the same social interactions. It seems like an excellent way to chat, chat, chat, chat, and then kiss. Just like we used to do in The Sims 1!
