Revolutionizing The Sims 3: Unleashing a New Era of Simulated Life!
Added 2023-06-17 01:04:01 +0000 UTCHave you ever noticed how Sims behave in their daily lives in the neighborhood? Well, The Sims 3 AI is relatively good. In fact, it performs an excellent role. But have you, like me, ever had the impression that Sims' personalities aren't always as evident as they could be? Well, if so, I think you're going to love what I'm creating!
With Project Get Out, we have set an ambitious milestone to represent life in a light, modern, and rudimentary way. With the upcoming modules, we will enhance this by making Sims more responsive, intelligent, expressive, altering gameplay dynamics, and transforming the experience in The Sims 3 like never before. (At least, that's our purpose.)
I have been working on multiple modules simultaneously, one day at a time, while testing, evaluating, improving, and packaging them. The next few months will be fascinating! Anyway, I would like to share with you a little bit of what I have been doing during this "calm waters" period.
- We are changing the needs decay behavior to recreate the times of The Sims 1 and 2 when balancing that with wants and fears was the great challenge;
- We are improving it so that your Sims can handle their needs naturally (if you're a player like me who doesn't like to control everything);
- We are refining how Sims use their cell phones;
- We are altering the speed at which cars drive through the city;
- We are implementing improvements to the in-game clock;
- We are investigating gameplay files to increase chaos;
- We are allowing Sims to take initiatives that were previously inhibited by default.
- We are even creating new dynamics, such as Sims' ability to autonomously create their own Servos!
- Now your Sims can autonomously pay their bills and perform a series of other activities that were previously not allowed autonomously;
- And let me not forget that we are creating the ultimate interface mod, which will replace a dozen other mods by bundling everything you need into a single mod! Yes, the future is coming, and we're building it, one piece at a time!
And that's just the tip of the iceberg! It's a sneak peek of what's to come. The next module of Project Get Out (which I will start working on today) will be one of the most challenging, exhausting, and complex ones. But it will completely change the game (if it works, and it will). I am eager to share more about it with you in the future. In the meantime, how about checking out how each Sim is taking their own initiatives with some of the improvement modules mentioned above?
I hope you enjoy the news, the video, and the promise of the future that lies ahead!
