2022-09-23 18:59:27 +0000 UTCSo glad i saw what's winning this, last i had looked it was Twilight was and i almost had to unsubscribe (i still don't talk to that one friend who saw the 1st twighlight three times...IN THEATRES NO LESS!!! lol jk). Narnia i believe was the first chapter books i believe i ever read. So that's something to keep in mind, they are childrens books, not even young adult. They just have a different feel, I will be bold and say that the beauty of the scenery and imagry of the movies rivals that of Lord of the Rings. The cinemetography is done in a way i really love. There's just a magical and uplifting element that's hard to describe. There are plenty of battles though After you watch the series, I can gift you an audio drama version of all 7 books if you have any desire: ie the stories have a full cast of voice actors, sound effects and accompanying music. They're only like 3 hours each

The jason bourne series is amazing, especially for someone that hasn't seen it, a first time viewing is always a unique experience. Not to mention that a certain someone will go ape-shit over memes that have come from these movies haha. The twillight series are so bad. I get that these movies have a certain demographic that loves it and absolutely eats it up. And i'm happy for them. But keeping in mind that the 3or4 of you will be reacting to this im afraid that y'all will hate it and thus will step on some toes here. I hated RP in this, while I loved him in The Batman. These movies almost made me not wanna watch The Batman. But keep in mind, thats just MY opinion. That witch show that was mentioned is really good indeed. The last airbender, I dunno. It's enjoyable, but you guys might wanna save that one for a father/son viewing idk. I think if you guys are gonna dive into anime you will be better off with "Erased" (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) which is also a short one of 13 episodes or "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood". Both of those have a more adult theming, life lessons and a great story/soundtrack. As far as the poll is going, atm Narnia is ahead, which im excited for since i've never seen those but ive heard good things so im definately down.

And of course, The Kingsman's afterwards, but pleaseeee don't go to Twilight...If it is to see a series on vampires, check "A discovery of witches". Three solid seasons. Oh, and since I read this in the comments, I too would highly recommend The Last Airbender - the animated series, not movie adaptations

Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Zachary Quinto, Anton Yelchin(rip) and a huge list of big name actors but will keep those hidden, if y'all are ever able to get to it, they'll be nice surprises when they show up :)

It is epic and Netflix is working on a live adaptation of the series. But the animated series is phenomenal and as an adult, I don’t usually get into animated series. 😁

Haha i loved the first one because it's so iconic and I looove the bluish tint of the first movie, showing Forks exactly how it was described in the books (rainy/cold/gloomy/foggy). It's also nostalgia for me but I also think they might find them cringe lol
