As if conversational exploration of sexual fluidity is too gauche or perversive to discuss in marketing towards the ideal audience of the film about high schoolers exploring their queer sexuality. 🥴 huh?!

The last scene is really beautiful and the score hums on an this emotional wavelength that is subliminal but powerful. My fav from last year.

They happened at a different time, but I wrote them into that one scene because it doesn’t matter. It’s still the truth — it’s just for the sake of writing a book and making it cohesive and able to flow.”

Back in the 80’s in Illinois as long as you were born before December 1st you were allowed to start school with the 1978 year babies. I was born 12-13 and I had to wait a year and go to school with all the kids that were born after me. They didn’t start the September 1st in Illinois (at least) until the late 80’s or early 90’s here. Not sure how that factors into the rest of the US.
