We're finally saying goodbye to Create a World! So far he's taken us further than we could have planned in 2011. And I'm glad he did. From now on OldSunset will evolve from Saves. There are some lots to finish, others lots to create, and dozens of stories to tell! A lot will change over the coming months. My intention is to boost this process to deliver everything by September.
This however, does not mean that after September we will not continue to improve and refine as much as we are able.
If you've been following the most recent posts, you already know everything new that's coming, but if you haven't, I'll sum it up by covering all the news for this month:
Overall, these were the main points I worked on this month. To be able to get out of Create a World I needed to make sure all of this was fixed, proper, and working. It took a lot of work. Mainly routing. Several vegetations were relocated to fit within the route and make it as simple as possible to guarantee the best performance and stability that a map like this with more than 10 thousand decorations and more than 205 lots could provide.
This month, in addition to the traditional version, I'm making an EMPTY version of the neighborhood available so everyone who loves building and wants to make their mark on OldSunset can do so from a completely empty map!
For those of you who have been following OldSunset since day one, I hope you like all the changes and appreciate every little detail. Every minute invested in improving the map to the maximum this month was a privilege for me. I thank all the new supporters that arrived and those who maintained their support, without you this project would not have come this far. A good part of the things I risked were thanks to the commitment established with you to always surpass the previous month as much as possible. Thank you again.
In a few days I'll share with you AN UPDATED tutorial here on the filters I use to make my game look like this. In the future this same tutorial will be available on my website.
DOWNLOAD. Have a great weekend and let's go, because now it's time to tell stories in OldSunset!
