OldSunset February 2022 is coming!

Good morning! I hope you are well. I am excited to announce that finally the island of resorts has begun to receive improvements in Oldsunset! We have 3 new types of lots for your Sims to enjoy free time and relax in a loud style!

From a massage house, to a particular place where your Sims can drink, bet and fly in a balloon!

This was all possible thanks to the decision together with the Patreon supporters to use store sets and other mods that would allow us to expand the basis of possibilities on the map. Going beyond, with the mods folder optimization so that the game will whether whether it would gently indifferent whether or not you are on a suitable PC (hoping you are).

Now, these lots are just the welcome card, because if your yes is willing to buy a holiday house, there is a perfect addition to it on the island beach!

Throughout the month, Oldsunset has received several improvements in create a world. The main one being an evolution of the texture quality of the map. I improved the textures of grass, rock and earth to have an even cleaner look from both far and closely. This goes from full meeting with the aesthetics we are building for Oldsunset. In addition, several rocks, decorations and plants have been added and altered to incorporate a more realistic setting.

Throughout this month, I also made a poll to find out how many of you use ANSEL filters in your games (as indications of my optimization tutorial) to be able to see Oldsunset from the same perspective as it is being created. Unfortunately we had only one vote and he was negative. Which means that I started some efforts to understand if I could be able to produce similar results visually, through lighting, texture and color mods to transmit this ideal to those who do not have access to filters.

Unfortunately it is more complex than I imagined. Which means that I will need much more skills to make it a reality at some point in the future.

While this does not happen, the time invested to better understand the process, allowed me to bring improvements to the map.

!!From now on, Oldsunset files will be available separately!!

-The Mods folder will have a unique link
(whenever there are updates in it you will be informed)

-We have the Oldsunset download link (as you are used to) but this time only from the installation file.

-And the third link is the cachet file. It will be primarily responsible for improving his experience browsing Oldsunset. Just like the mods folder, eventually will be updated whenever the map is modified.

Remember that you will need the 3 links to have the full Oldsunset experience. I made the decision to host this way because of the available space I have on Google Drive. Installation instructions will be present in the post with download link.
