Hey guys! I hope you are all well and had a wonderful New Year's Eve! I would like to begin by thanking each one of you for your support and welcoming each and every new supporter. It is a significant privilege for me to receive the support of each and every one of you!

As I always say, every new month in OldSunset is a surprise! I started the year testing new types of lots and from that came the first OldSunset Zen Garden. Then, due to the influence of games like Hogwarts Legacy, Red Dead Redemption and other open world games, I was inspired to redesign OldSunset Bay by adding a wide variety of plants and new lots to make this region more "hectic".

So we went from a large empty space with enormous potential to be used to a completely new district of high-end houses by the sea. (Allow me to say that unfortunately the developer did not deliver these homes completely finished. Their interior will still need renovations for new tenants)

Each house around here has its own style and at the same time complements it. Organic materials and neutral colors make this region unique and special.

The yellow house goes back to a more classic and contemporary style that uses different details on the wall panels to give the house a different touch with personality.

While the blue house provides everything a true beach hippie needs to live in peace and connected with nature. The wooden deck with wicker furniture provides all the comfort an outdoor lover needs to throw parties on the weekends and receive friends for an afternoon at the lake (or in this case, ocean)

The red house, on the other hand, brings a mix between mountain cabin and seaside mansion with all the luxury and sophistication that the elite seeks to enjoy life.

On the other side of the beach, a small cabin stands out in the middle of dense nature, almost completely integrated into the environment and betting on natural and earthy tones to give its residents the full experience of connection with nature.

Like most beach houses, this cabin has a large back deck with boat access. This is definitely the perfect place for your Sims to live!

This area has also been updated, providing much more comfort and welcome for Sims who seek a certain degree of privacy without leaving the city.

In order for each of these new areas to be believable enough, it was necessary to add streets and new forms of access. This took some of the "virginity" away from OldSunset's untouched beach, while also making this region much more interesting than just a big sandbox for Sims to walk around.
I hope you enjoy OldSunset's new features this month! Remembering that I am always open to criticism, suggestions and ideas. I keep in mind that some of you have asked for the addition of features that make some regions more "urban" and all of these have been considered. I didn't forget xD Anyway, I think what we did on the beach, brought a footprint of what I want to bring to the whole map. A more integrated world concept with details that surprise and keep us engaged in the idea that we really are playing in an open world that is as rich and surprising as any Ts4 map could seem (but, with many more accessible areas and activities to do).
In a few hours the world will be available for Download. Before I forget: I made the decision NOT to change the name of the map this month, so that all of you could reinstall it, keeping the generated cache files (which contributes to a better performance). Again, thank you so much for your support, trust and suggestions. Your contribution makes all the difference!
