Guys please check out his other film Snowpiercer! It's so good and deserves more attention! And there's no maybe reactions for it so it would be nice to see more! I've also heard The Host is also very good.

2022-08-16 23:42:02 +0000 UTCSuch a great film! My interpretation is that the end (where the son earns enough to buy the house and free his father) is just a fantasy. The entire film is one big class study, and it’s so unlikely that he could rise from his class like that, even with such great motivation. I think it’s cool how “parasite” can be read both ways. Yes, the poor family hoodwinks the rich family and lives off their ill-gotten salaries, but the rich family also makes huge demands of poor workers (coming in off hours, ordering the housekeeper to have dinner ready in 8 mins, etc), paying them life-changing amounts of money that to the rich family is chump change. The rich family literally cannot function without their staff. So who’s the real parasite? Such a wonderful film.

I've been hypnotized by watching The Sandman in whatever spare time I had (which I loved), but once I watch your Prey reaction this is next on the list. I REALLY loved this movie! It is well-deserved in winning Best Picture, Director, International Feature Film, and Original Screenplay in 2020 imo..... it was EXCELLENT! Then again, y'all always react to the bangers 🤘🏻

2022-08-15 21:22:58 +0000 UTCGreat to see you reacting to this movie guys. They say it's a black comedy thriller. For me it's mainly a drama film. It's a painful but well made picture of a first world country, where the 'lower class' isn't a lot better off than in a third world country. But definitely with a lot of suspense and humor. I think the makers purposefully toned down the humor in the later parts of the movie to really deliver the main messages. Did the Appleton oak already see the movie?
