Isometric cam NEW VERSION (Testing) Download
Added 2022-05-12 19:40:05 +0000 UTCHello friends! I'm passing by to share with you an updated (test) version of the isometric camera mod! I'm still tweaking some values, but it's already suitable for testing and getting feedback. If you have any criticism or suggestion, feel free to comment. I'm making adjustments to improve it as much as possible compared to The Sims 3.
Changes:
- Flexible vertical adjustments to facilitate builds and screenshots. To use them, remember to zoom out to the maximum with the in-game camera. (Images 4 and 5)
- Zoom-in adjusted further away from the Sims, in order to obtain a look similar to The Sims 1. The first version of the isometric camera mod zoomed in to the Sims' feet, too exaggerated xD (image 2 and 3)
- The map view remains wide, but keeping visual aspects of the game much more uniform and pleasant. I dropped it from 1050 to 900 (if I'm not mistaken) which means: You still see a lot of the neighborhood. But now it no longer suffers from unpleasant visual aspects. (Image 1 and 6)
- I changed the Fov from 25 to 18. Neighborhood objects should display their versions with lower quality Lods (When in the map view). It's the price you pay for an isometric look in The Sims. But nothing that should interfere with your experience to the point of not using the mod.
Hope you like the improvements, and if you want to compare with the previous version, feel free to use ONLY ONE file at a time and make your own comparative screenshots.
