I remember something about "Jane" from early seasons. Definitely going to do a rewatch of all the seasons so it's more fresh.

He birth certificate said Jane Hopper at the end of season 2 from the doctor that he gave hopper right before the dance scene at the end.

2022-06-17 20:15:15 +0000 UTCI could see that you guys were a bit confused about the lab scenes and Nina scenes. Every time you saw 001 and the kids in the lab it is 1979. Everything in the Rainbow room, her bullies, One killing everybody was all in the past. El just wiped it from her memory. That’s why they showed her as a little kid sometimes. She pulled the chip out in 1979. Season 1 starts 4 years after that and she escapes. Then we see Dr Brenner being cold to El in flashbacks. Now we know why. El pretty much created Vecna. Also, I’m pretty sure that kind of demigorgon made an appearance in season 2.
