2022-06-20 13:16:25 +0000 UTCMy dad was UNBELIEVABLE at attention to detail and picking up on plots twists in movies/shows. He did the same as Oaks friend. When he noticed or figured something out he would write it down on a piece of paper and show us afterwards so he didnt spoil it. The Sixth Sense, The Others, etc... NOTHING got past him. Hell having been in the 101st Airborne Division himself, at the very beginning of Saving Private Ryan he even noticed the Paratrooper Wings pinned on the man's jacket. So, he knew immediately, at the very least, that the old man was NOT Tom Hanks or any other of those characters on the beach because Rangers storm, Paratroopers FLY!! Too this DAY I dont think alot people notice that small but, GIGANTIC detail!! Very little of this ability was passed on to me, however, so to answer your question... I DID have a feeling that man was number ONE but, that's about it lol. I was completely blindsided by him being Victor Kreels son, eventually becoming Venca because of El, and realizing THIS was why El escaped and why she was in the woods on the night she met Mike and the others... kicking off the entire damn story!! MINDBLOWING 🤯🤯🤯🤯

I could be really wrong about this, but I don’t think that’s the only person she banished to the upside down. Maybe they can help?

2022-06-17 16:20:56 +0000 UTCYes. We kept confusing ourselves there as to past vs present lol. We even talked about that off camera lol. We get sucked into whats happening and with the jumping around, it got us confused for a few moments. Epic last 15 mins there.

2022-06-17 16:10:21 +0000 UTCFrom what I understood, when she was younger, Eleven killed 001/Vecna and sent him to the upside down (which has always existed) and which has always been controlled by the Mind Flayer. Since season 1, as Dustin said, the creatures that we’ve seen before were all lower ranked soldiers including Vecna, which he referred to as "his 5-star general" Admittedly, Vecna’s abilities to invade minds since he was a child helped serve the Mind Flayer in his plan, by allowing him to open gates between the upside down and the real world. His ultimate objective is still unknown though, but it's probably to invade earth.
