2022-06-14 18:09:47 +0000 UTCNo it is 3 books, you can buy 1 book that contains all 3 in it though. and really you could say it was 6 books technically. But they made Tolkien make it only 3 books each containing 2 books. Book 1 ends with the Ringwraiths being washed away by a river and Frodo losing consciousness. Book 2 concludes where The Fellowship of the Ring usually does. Book 3 ends with Saruman's defeat and Gandalf riding to Minas Tirith. Book 4 stops in the same place as The Two Towers. Book 5 finishes with Sauron commencing his attack and Pippin's fate left unclear. Book 6 ends The Lord of the Rings. Even in the books it separates them by book 1 and book 2.
