What's Coming for OldSunset in the November Release

Who would say! November was an extremely productive month in terms of the number of lots built! Several districts were revisited, and some houses were relocated. Chances are you feel something is different and it is. We've incorporated a 2/5 concept that aims to make the world more fluid and batch loading faster.

In practice how does this work? It means that, in each set of 5 houses, 3 are decorative and 2 have a complete interior. Now I know THAT, this isn't the best solution when we envision The Sims 3 as an open world game, but tentatively it was a way I found to make it load even faster than before. After all, this is one of the pillars to make OldSunset one of the biggest and best worlds ever made for The Sims 3. It's not enough to be beautiful, it needs to be optimized.

I made this decision, inspired by means of optimization that still have to come to the game in the future as Smooth Patch has done for us in the present, believing that, up ahead, if everything allows, we can fill these lots of decorations from the inside!

Another reason, of course, was to speed up the completion process without losing quality. After all, even though these lots do not have an interior, you can still purchase them and place a decoration that reflects your personality!

There were a total of 13 new batches included in this release. Remember: No old lots have been removed, they've been rearranged, and some have undergone minor visual tweaks to match their new regions standing out with more class!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I was inspired by developing them. This new type of lot will be important for us to balance beauty and performance in order to build a world with the gaming experience we truly deserve!

Also, let me know your opinion in the comments below. I emphasize, if by the end of the world, we have new ways of optimizing, I will spare no efforts to furnish each of these lots.
