I originally wanted to write both a story for Christmas and one for New Years, but sadly the Christmas story took too long and still isn't finished. I will post it once it's ready, but thankfully this one is ready for its proper holiday!
I've had a few ideas for how different holidays are celebrated in Stepford, and one of the more interesting ones is New Years. We associate New Years with resolutions, new beginnings, and being better versions of ourselves. So how does that translate in Stepford? A town that forces new beginnings and "self betterment" upon anyone who moves there?

There’s always more memories to erase and new ways to commit to the cause! And I love how Mallory is still protective of her sister. It’s both very sweet (because that sibling love endures all the brainwashing) and very dark (because it proves that deep down Mal Holmes is still there somewhere, living her worst nightmare every day 😈)
