For the Madonna podcast - I have a memory of Madonna getting cheek implants years ago. She’s been alien chic ever since.

2023-02-17 14:33:10 +0000 UTCRichard was obese. You can find him as an extra in a Fellini film, where he is in fact quite fat. He’s been pretty open about having an eating disorder in the beginning of his career. “Missing Richard Simmons” the podcast goes into all of this. But he was in fact a fat kid and an obese teenager.

2023-02-16 20:44:29 +0000 UTCLove the Pod! Long time listener first time writer. 99 red balloons is an anti-war song from the Cold War period. The rush to destroy perceived UFOs and the mass destruction of the effort is an allegory for the mutual destruction threat of the Soviet-USA arms race. The German lyrics are much more political and clear than the later translated English version.
