Patron Update: Second Half Of 2024 Roadmap

Hi everyone! It's been a bit since we had a state of the neighborhood update, and I figured now is a great time.

With Switching Proper Places having ended, I'm already hard at work on what's coming next to the Patreon. To be more specific, my plans for the back half of 2024 are to focus more on existing characters and neighborhoods in Stepford, and to continue telling stories about these characters; how they became brainwashed and what they continue to do after their initial re-educations.

In the immediate future, we have a return to Mya and Gabriel Chesterfield with an *interquel* for Bet On Black. What does that mean? Well, a brand new mini story set during Mya's first year in Stepford, before she found out the truth about the town but after she had begun falling in love with her future husband.

After that is a story focusing on Ruthie Jean Smith, spinning out of Bet On Black and The House Wins. It'll be a high school reunion for Ruthie Jean and her husband Darryl, with a few faces we already know and love, as well as a few new ones, and a bit of a revelation that'll impact future stories involving the gang.

As for what will come after that? I've got a few different things in the planning stages, such as a crossover story involving characters from Matron's Handmaiden by Clairanette (with some input from her during the writing process), as well as a full-on collaboration with Clairanette for the story of Mya's wedding to Gabriel post Bet On Black (a verrrrry big story which honestly will be my longest single chapter story ever I think). We've been writing the wedding story for a while now, and I'm hoping to have it finished as soon as it possibly can be, but we're making sure it's a very special story so it might take a bit more time to perfect it and finish it.

Beyond that? At least one new story involving the Stepford polycule of Brent, Patricia, and Annie Taggert, as well as a story digging into Nurse Maddock from the Stoplight Stepfordization trilogy and her backstory, as well as her life outside of work, and a hidden connection to some other characters that we know and love...

There's a lot coming, basically! A lot of oneshots and 2-3 part stories featuring already established characters, and as much Stepfordization as you can handle. So please stay tuned, enjoy the commissions I'm working on as they come out, and look forward to all this Stepfordy goodness~
