Added 2023-09-27 12:00:01 +0000 UTCThis story started out with the intent to focus on the idea of a woman's voice and speech being controlled and restrained by her debate club rival turned husband, but as it went on, it ended up becoming more about the idea of her losing her ability to debate or disagree with him instead? As a result, you can still see some vestiges of that original idea, like Naomi not talking in the present, but on the flip side, I'll probably hold onto the speech/voice idea for another story down the road.
