Jameela Jamil's Music History
Added 2021-10-19 13:05:04 +0000 UTCHere is the original tweet in question:

And here is Jameela in the comments clarifying that it was "piano and singing":

Here she is, on "The Tonight Show," telling Jimmy Fallon about the production credits and that she was a "composer" and had a music scholarship to school.

But, her Twitter history, revealed something different, despite her attempt to delete her old tweets. (FYI, a source who works at Twitter contacted me and said that it is literally impossible for a third party app to delete tweets.)

However, what her Twitter cleansing couldn't scrub were the old versions of retweets—prior to Twitter making this a function in the app—in which people used to have to manually copy and paste a tweet and write "RT" in order to retweet. Some of those retweets are still alive, and they reveal something incredible.
On December 20, 2011 Jameela tweeted that she had just been given a piano for Christmas, and now she can finally start to learn!

Here's someone else responding to her tweet which is now deleted.

And also? It sound like it wasn't even a piano. Classic Jameela!

And here is an RT, one year later, on December 29, 2012, that she just had her first lesson and learned "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."

A child prodigy composer who didn't learn "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" until she was 26? Sure, Jam.
