Judd is in the New Dawn Cafe, a hippie~hipster cafe that was lost to the first pre-2000 internet wave. It was on 16th St. in the Mission District and had a Jesus statue with cheerleader pompons behind the coffeepots. It was a big loss to me personally, as I moved to SF from DC in 1995 for just that sort of thing 💐
