I’m obsessed

This project has taken over everything 🤣😂

I should have a new video up tomorrow on it.

So far, feet, thighs, waist, arms, forearm & hands all printed.

I’m going to start seeing if I can remodel the base a bit to fit an umbrella stand then run a metal pole from the base up into the torso. I really dig the idea of using some clear tubs or some rebar to better help support the legs.

What profile are you using for this print? Started to notice that my Neptune 3 Plus is not printing as good as my Neptune 2 or as I was thinking. Cant print a temp tower that looks decent. And yes is printing "fine"but I dont think as good as yours.

What are you doing for layer lines? Would love to do something like this with a couple Busts

I keep thinking about doing a life size of my own but trying to electroplate it in copper. I can't even imagine how difficult that would be to do so many parts nor how much solution it would take to do it all once assembled. Magneto would look great like that too.

Hey Ghostrider. I hope it's ok for me to join in with a comment. I have a resin printer myself, and i am one of those extreme level carefully people. I have my printer in a small pantry room in my shop. I use the old kitchen fan as an exhaust when printing as well as a mask, and closed door. Recently i bought an air purifier with triple filters, and when i did a print recently, the air quality notification warned me about a raised level of partials. I would say, personally i would not use a resin printer where other people are, especially if it´s kids or elderly people with possible weaker immune systems. If you do want to print " safely " i´d say try at least to keep it separated and well ventilated, but even with closed doors and exhausts etc, i do smell the resin quite easy. I could see this being less of an optimal situation in an apartment.

Uncle Jesse, one other major mater. I have two 3D printers that are not setup yet. I live in an apartment is it safe for me to do this or am I wasting time and money on something I cannot do with elderly and kids around me? Thanks for your quick response on the last question. I have two Anycubic liquid resin printers. One 2K and one 6k.

Hey, I decided to finish my life-size Harley Quinn as you told me in the Elegoo group. I start it when Neptune 2 was NEW. I am having problems with some parts braking up. Are you printing this hollow and with how many walls? I am wondering if I should start over and just take this as a learning curve. Did you post your settings for this project? Been watching your videos since the Saturn (my 1st printer when was a pre order) and I dont know why I didnt susribe untill now.

I want to do a big project like this so bad. Looks awesome!

Just be careful with rebar you it will over time rust no matter if it's inside or not.

Keep up the great work though, can't wait to see the end result
