Review of Les Visiteurs

Les Visiteurs is a French comedy from 1993 about two people from the Middle Ages transported to the modern world.

CORRECTION: In the video I say they visit 1993, but they actually arrive in 1992.

Another thing to take into consideration regarding the bath scene is that a medieval person, specially a peasant, wouldn't just madly throw all the soap/bath salts into the water, on the contrary, a medieval person would be much more sparing, more economical. Also, a medieval person would not just carelessly grab the glass jar, considering that glass was a somewhat complex and expensive product in the past.

This is a comedy btw

I think you would love to see, think about, and talk about the Luis Buñuel film, "The Milky Way" (1969) From wikipedia: "The title of the film is taken from a popular name used for the Camino de Santiago, a network of pilgrimage routes that stretched from northern Europe to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain, where the remains of St. James were reputed to be buried. The film follows the picaresque journey of two vagabond travelers, who seem to be making the pilgrimage as a means of escape. Along the way, they witness a series of bizarre incidents involving historical Christian heresies. At key moments, they encounter Jesus and the Virgin Mary, as well as modern believers and fanatics."

Another movie that might be interesting to get a review for that is a personal favorite is Captain Blood with Errol Flynn

This was one that I recommended, although I didn't realize that the American version was based off a French version. Still, I really enjoyed the review. I guess it's time for a rewatch.
