I only know Sweet Honey in the Rock from the Ken Burns (US) Civil War documentary soundtrack, but based on that alone, well worth a listen.

It had its day in the US (1930‘s-60‘s) though my daughter‘s the only one I’ve seen heard of with it in her generation. Esp. popular in the Black community. Most famous Am. Bernices: one of the founders of Sweet Honey in the Rock (fab female gospel acapella) and one of MLK‘s daughters, who is now spokesperson for the family.
