The Hierophant - V2

When I first painted the Hierophant card in 2022, I thought I was finishing a really strong piece. Part of that feeling came from my fact that the color palette was shared with one of my most iconic pieces, and part of that came from my recent turn back toward making everything by hand after my stint with AI. Looking back on it now, it seems obvious to me that I started with a weak sketch that lacked the sort of eminence that I was aiming for.

I thought this would be a quick touchup and I'd be done, but in the end I had to repaint big chunks of this piece in order to be satisfied. But now, I am satisfied. When it comes to this series, I want to feel like I've left everything on the canvas rather than just meet a quota.
