Added 2023-06-29 18:14:41 +0000 UTCStarting in Photoshop makes making big changes more comfortable, which can be really wonderful but also really difficult to make choices. In this case, the changes I made were in service of building a sense of scale and lighting, which wasn't coming together with the giant screaming head design once I began to push into color.
Color palette wise, I knew I wanted to do yellow, but I felt like pushing in a blue sky was an interesting contrast to the concept of the image. Making thematic elements clash on purpose is always fun :)
