There have been a number of things bubbling up in the background and I'm still getting back on track after spending a month recovering from Covid. Writing this just now, getting struck down with Covid for weeks sort of corresponds with the themes of The Tower...
There was a failed first pass that I started in pencil but I dumped after it getting about 25% of my way through the process. Ultimately, I realized I wanted to go with a more Beksinski vibe for this piece and restarted in natively in Photoshop.
