Grave of Hope - (Color Phase)
Added 2020-07-29 19:00:00 +0000 UTCI experimented with a weirder color palette before settling on this one. Everything had been so simple up to this point, I figured it was was worthwhile to see what happened if I mixed it all up. In the end, settling with a bright daylight look was what felt most satisfying.
As the colors came together I noticed there was a little something missing from the composition. After a couple experiments I realized that all this painting needed was a little flame up near the top of the towers. It helped transform them from a statues into a lighthouse. It's amazing what little changes can do.
