Hasmed, All but Broken - (Value Phase)

Since everything in the world seems to be disintegrating, it seemed appropriate to create a new illustration for Hasmed, Angel of Annihilation. In the past, I've always illustrated this Angel as a force that inflicts destruction around it, but this time I wanted to invert the concept and show Annihilation itself breaking under the strain of the universe.
The power that grips Hasmed's body is so destructive that it tears at the fabric of reality itself. Even though the sky shatters from the force, the Angel can't be broken. The Seraphim are not their bodies. Their physical forms are merely shadows the ideals they represent.
