Ein Sof - The Sleeper (value phase)

I've been meaning to illustrate my own incarnation of the central deity in Angelarium for quite a while, but it never felt like the right time to get started until just recently.
These last few months, I've finally been giving myself permission to work on whichever painting calls out to me, regardless of how I believe it might fit into some future release or product. After all, making art for art's sake is why I started this whole endeavor in the first place.
For this piece, I'm building off of some of the design elements Noah introduced to Ein Sof in the first incarnation, but I'm going to be including some additional aspects that reflect my own personal sensibilities. Notably, there is a really big banyan tree in my front yard that I really want to use as reference. You can already start to see hints of it's dangling branches down in the tree's roots.
