Legacy Print News - Please Read

Hey guys,

The old Legacy Print reward tiers were erased to clear room for the new version. If you want prints in the mail, you need to re-subscribe to the new reward tier to continue receiving them.

What's going on

I raised the price of the Legacy Print tier to $40 to match the amount we charge at conventions. They've been that price for years but I didn't want to upset the subscription program if people were enjoying it.

I still don't feel totally comfortable changing it, but if I'm serious about simplifying this whole thing, I need to make a few uncomfortable steps. Once I'm done merging everything together next month, there will only be two tiers:

There will be a really cool extra bonus reward next month to celebrate the completed renovation of the Patreon campaign.

Special Legacy Print Release - The Gate of Sahaqiel

The Gate of Sahaqiel has been one of the most demanded pieces I've ever released but had a criminally short run as a Limited Edition back when it was first painted. Making it more rare, I also chose to never offer it at conventions.

As it stands, I think that fewer than 30 people own a print of this piece.

Even if you were already subscribed, you will need to change your pledge to the new reward tier in order to get a copy of this print in the mail next month.

Changing to 'Monthly' Billing

This is the least meaningful change happening but I wanted to explain it so there isn't any concern.

For the past several years I've been charging "per creation" and releasing a single paid creation per month. That meant I was effectively charging monthly but leaving the door open to charge everyone multiple times if I was more prolific. Changing to "monthly" billing means I'm closing the door on that option and removing the concern of being double charged.

If for some reason I don't deliver any art in a month, the system will skip the payment for that month. So, there is literally no difference from the way things have been operating for the past 3-4 years.

Thanks for reading! I'm a little behind on DMs, so if you've been reaching out with questions I promise to get back to you soon.

Much love,

-Pete
