Legacy Print Changes - New and Incoming

Hey guys,

There are some changes coming to Legacy Prints. Some right away and some down the line. I wanted to open up communication right now to keep you up to date.

International Shipping

For the last few months, I've been losing a couple dollars on every International Legacy Print shipment. Rather than wait for other changes to take effect, I've made a short term fix to stop the loss while providing an option for subscribers outside the US. The Legacy Print tier has been split into US and Global shipping options with two different prices.

This only effects the 10-12 people right now but DM me if you have concerns or questions. If you are on of the people effected, you should already have a message from me.

Two Paintings per Month

Starting sometime around April, I am planning to begin delivering 2 paintings per month again. I wanted to begin to address any changes before I make them.

The plan is to align the price of Legacy Prints to match their cost at conventions, which is 1 for $40 or 2 for $60. Fortunately, I don't need to change much to make this work. Here's the breakdown:

(Two Prints) $30 per painting / $60 per Month. This is the same reward tier and cost you are subscribed to right now but I'd be releasing paintings twice as often. Despite the identical charge per painting, the monthly charge would be double. This matches the two prints for $60 deal I offer at conventions. If this is what you want, you shouldn't need to do anything.

(One Print) $20 per painting / $40 per Month. If you only want one print each month, the cost of that would be going up to $40 per print. This new tier would have the cost of single print broken in half. By charging $20 per painting, the charges add up to the cost of a single print over the course of the month. Compared to traveling to a convention to buy prints, it's still a lot cheaper.

What about the $75 tier?

I've got no plans to change the $75 tier any time soon. It's designed for the obsessed collector, so every subscriber at that level would continue to get every new LE Print and every Legacy Print every month. There will be plenty of warning, so no one should suddenly see a double sized bill show up without notice. Keep an eye out around April.

What about International Legacy Print shipments?

Packing a couple of prints together each month means there is less of a need to charge extra for shipping. Maybe International print rewards are going to be exclusive to the two print tier or higher? Maybe I'll work out a system for addressing shipping costs separately? We'll see how the current changes go first.
