It's always scary because I both need to finish these paintings on a deadline and they are going to represent me for a long time. You guys are all chipping in money to make them, so I want to make them great, but that pressure makes it harder to make choices.
I've taken a step back from worrying recently and I'm enjoying the process more again. I think it's leading the work back to a better and more interesting place.
