Right from the very beginning of Aelaranthae Empire emergence, they had become a steadfast ally of the Aelaranthae Empire. However, disputes about the intellectual property from Aelaranthae Academy continue to spark here and there, even after hundreds of years of coexistence.
Nevertheless, Aelaranthae Empire had thrived while LeAestas growth seemed stunted. Jealousy were rampant in LeAestas, however, they couldn’t find the cause. Even when they offer greater opportunity for returning scholar, offering higher position even among the elders in their own University, their work was subpar compared to what they did in Aelaranthae Empire.
They didn’t realize that bright minds worked together like a cog in a machine. You can’t grow flowers in a desert. In Aelaranthae Empire, these bright minds shared their ideas with their fellows and their fellows supported the idea and even offered to help. So, they grew by supporting each other. Meanwhile, in LeAestas, they often got the cold shoulder.
Some might think, why would you ask for advice when you don’t even listen to them, but such is the reality. They hired students from the Aelaranthae Empire, thinking all they needed to do was pay them so they could offer them greater wealth. They didn’t know the folly of their decision. They couldn’t grow nor produce results if you didn’t care or work together with them. They couldn’t change the nation if the elders were unwilling to change themselves.
And so, LeAestas remained. Neither prospered nor weakened. Later, they chose to sign a vassalage treaty for the Aelaranthae Empire. Declaring that Aelaranthae were holy beings and the source of all knowledge.
