Epilogue

Although the body was cold, I saw its face smiling peacefully. Although faded, I could see a familiar face when I glanced towards the window. Yes, it was my face when I was still young. What could have happened? Am I now a wandering spirit?
"Good evening, Maria Lilika." A voice greeted me as I daydreamed while gazing at my body lying on the bed. I turned and saw Rara coming with her large scythe. Her right eye glowed brighter than usual, and now she had a pair of dark black wings. Her expression was no longer childlike, even though she still had the body of a well-known child. I was reminded of the time we first met.
"A high-level devil, huh? Now your appearance is quite convincing even though your body still looks like a child."
"Thank you for the welcome. I appreciate that you did not run away or resist when I came to you." Rara spoke with a highly formal tone.
"So, why did you come here?" I asked directly to the heart of the matter. I tried not to cry, but it seemed that tears still flowed from the corners of my eyes. "Am I... going to hell?"
"It is not within my authority to send you to hell or heaven. Please pass through this door to meet the Almighty, and He who owns all worlds and realms will determine." Rara bowed, responding formally, and then a gray door appeared beside her.
Anxiety haunted my entire body as I looked at the door. I glanced between Rara and the door. With great difficulty, I stepped towards the door. With each step, memories of both good and evil deeds I had done passed before my eyes. My steps became heavier as I approached the door.
"Rara..." I shed tears. When I arrived right before the gray door, Rara remained silent, waiting beside it. Her expression was unreadable. Like a robot, she neither smiled nor showed anger.
"What's wrong? Maria Lilika Dewi? The door is right in front of you."
"Do I have to go through this door?" I asked hesitantly.
"Hmm..." She turned and smiled. Seeing her revert to childish again, I relaxed a bit, and my nervousness diminished. "Lilika, do you want to turn back time?"
"Huh?"
"The contract is still valid. However, if you open this door, my power will no longer reach you. This is the last chance to use this watch." Rara showed her pocket watch.
I took hold of the watch. Unlike when I was an old woman, my body was young, and my mind was clear. I could easily press the button to return to my past when I met Shella and Elin.
"Rara..." I handed the watch back to Rara and held her head like a small child. I smiled and hugged her.
"Why not?" Rara asked, puzzled.
"My answer is still the same as before I died. I won't turn back time. I regretted turning time back ever since the beginning. I regretted turning back the time after that. When I was a singer, I regretted turning back time and erasing the happy faces of my fans. When I was a doctor, I regretted turning back time and erasing the people I had saved from death, who lived happily. When I was a businesswoman, I regretted turning back time and erasing the opportunities for hundreds of employees who faithfully supported my company. Even when I was a housewife, I regretted turning back time and erasing my chance to apologize to Dika and my entire family." I answered, smiling at Rara.
Rara closed her eyes, took her watch, and put it back in her pocket. She opened her eyes and smiled. "Okay, then, please go through this door. Good luck."
"Hahaha, success entering heaven or entering hell?" I laughed after hearing her wishing me success.
"To be honest, I hope you go to hell. We've known each other for a long time. If we count, it's been 140 years. Hmm, not 140, 141 years we've known each other. If you go to heaven, we won't meet again forever." He said, smiling.
"Hahaha, true, we've known each other for a long time. If I go to hell, will I be tortured?"
"Yes, hell is a place like that. What else can be done?"
"Lately, I really hate you. Especially in the previous life about Dika. I'm sorry." I hugged her. Now that I was a child again, we were at the same height.
"It's fine. Everyone is like that here. Hating devils and cursing us because of their own decisions. We're used to it. Farewell."
"Farewell. Thank you for the watch. But I don't need it anymore. Hopefully, we'll never meet again." I smiled. I placed my hand on the handle of the ash-colored door and opened it. A light emerged from the door, and my body lifted toward the heavenly clouds inside the door.
"Goodbye. Congratulations. What a shame. we won't be able to meet again." Rara whispered, closing the ash-colored door, and I was enveloped in true happiness and peace in heaven.
