The journey for getting that Commissioned art.

Thank you all for your support. Thanks to your support, I managed to pay for the previously commissioned art (it was almost 50$). The art took almost a month to complete, and I was partly blamed for that for being so fussy. Thus, even though he might not see this, I apologized in advance to Ziachiart. This was my first ever commissioned art, and I simply wanted the very best.

Here is the initial sketch. The very first the artist gave me.

As you can see, she didn't resemble Eli very much. when I first saw her, my mind was going to Alicia instead, lol.

then after I pointed out the dagger (I specifically mentioned dagger before. Maybe my prompt went over the artist's head, and he drew a steak knife instead), boobs, and hair, the artist changed it to this.

After that came the basic coloring.

from here, I had high hopes. Her eyes really emanated the bloodthirst I wanted.

did you see any difference from this and the previous image? let me know in the comment. but the aura changed noticeably. what do you think?

after i pointed out several mistakes the drawing continue and this is the result. I immediately pointed out the weird lightning. did you feel this was odd? I used AI art exclusively before and thus i was sensitive to something AI art never make mistake of. I also pointed out the comet by the way.

Of course being a good and dedicated artist he was. he fixed it. i rejected this. what do you guys think? is this actually better?

after a few more changes, i chose this.

this was good enough. in fact, i almost want to declare the commission finished at this moment.

but the comet was red and supposed to cast a reddish lightning, right? so, i asked the artist another favor. and here is the end result.

and thus my new book cover was born. it was small improvements from here and there. let me know in the comment if i was being mean to the artist or is this end result justified.
